In his first letter to the Corinthians, Paul details the difference between God's Wisdom and the wisdom of the world. He points out that God has chosen to use what the world considers "foolish" to reveal His Truth. The Holy Spirit reveals God's (hidden) plan to His people - that is why we all need to be filled with the Spirit.
