This month many people celebrate Valentines Day with cards, candy, flowers and special gifts. It is a “loving and remembering” day- and that is good. We celebrate One who gave (until there was nothing left) Himself. He is- in fact- the gift that keeps on giving. Read more: Feb. 2008
A new year – new beginnings, new goals, new hopes and dreams. A new year of our potential released (by God), our Godly desires increased (by God), a year of anticipation and expectation! A year of growth, success, and going forward in the Lord and in His ways. Read more: January 2008
Have you ever asked yourself “Who am I?” Are you the way you look, the way you act, are you a product of your past, are you who people say you are, are you what your circumstances are? If you made two lists- what you like about yourself, and what you don’t like about yourself- which list would be longer?. Read more: March 2008
Today we are looking at (and learning from) the “Proverbs 31” woman found in the Old Testament. Proverbs is a book of wisdom, written for our instruction and benefit. The purpose of the book is to teach us wise, skillful and successful living, making decisions that are practical and line up with the Word of God. Read more: April 2008
THE ARCHIVES: "Bringing out treasures old and new..."
How precious to God is the heart of a servant. We by choice are following His Son. Ephesians 2:10 NIV says, “For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Much of those good works involve serving. Read more: June 2008
He knows YOU! Personally, intimately, and with great delight He chose you- and created you for His pleasure (Rev. 4:11 KJV). We never tire as He speaks to us and reminds us of His love. God is love- and love always is expressed and demonstrated not just in word but in action. Read more: July 2008
We all get reminders. By phone, e-mails, by regular mail, by the voices of friends & associates, by our families and brothers & sisters in Christ, and by our leaders, we receive reminders of our obligations, commitments, and other important matters.

Looking at our key Scripture for this month, we need to answer this question. Can we- as daughters of the Lord- walk in darkness?
This is not about physical darkness or spiritual darkness from sin but another kind of darkness.
It’s all about honor. Honor is defined as follows: (1) to reverence, (2) any expression of respect or of high estimation by words or actions, (3) exalted rank or place, (4) any act by which reverence and submission are expressed, (5) to worship, (6) to adore, Read More November 2008
“When Jesus got home, the blind men went in with him. Jesus said to them ‘Do you really believe I can do this? They said, why yes, Master!’ He touched their eyes and said, ‘Become what you believe.’ They saw.” {The Message, Matt. 9:27-29). Read More October 2008
As we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and partake again of the event as recorded in Holy Scripture (Matthew 1:18-25, Matthew 2:1-23 and Luke 2 :1-40) we cannot help but give praise and honor to the One who has given us life! Read More December 2008
Identity Theft-It has happened to someone we know or perhaps to us. Someone has taken personal information (financial or otherwise) about us and used it for their own purposes. When this happens we feel violated and have a sense of losing control. Read More February 2009
By His grace, love, and power we are now in the beginning of a new year. We are thankful He has brought us this far – thankful for His keeping us, His leading, His care, His provision, His protection, and His unfolding plan for every one of our lives.
Our God is a relational God. Even Jesus on the Cross stretched out His arms – showing His everlasting love and care. His welcome to All is still going on today. Proverbs 18:24 declares “…but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.”
"When we hear the word investment we will probably think of money - some of us may have short or long-term investments. The word to invest literally means to clothe, to surround, to adorn or to grace, to confer or to give."
"Think of it- His loving touch is already on our lives. The record of the Word in its entirety is His hand is on His people. Today He started our day with new mercies and the watches and looks at us and over us with much love. Read More May 2009
