From CT, Voluntown is easily reached by one of the state highways, (Rte 165, 138 or 49). They all converge in town and actually run concurrently in an east-west direction for about ¼ mile. LWF is located on the right side of Rte. 165, approximately 2 miles east of where the 2 routes join, or 4/10 mile from where 165 and 138 separate.(Route 138 may be accessed by exit 85 from Interstate 395)
From Rhode Island, Voluntown is on the eastern border of CT, adjoining Rhode Island. Interstate 95, exit 5A towards Exeter. Take 102 to 3. South on Rte 3 approx. 1 mile, turn right on Rte 165 at blinker. Follow Rte 165 approx. 8 miles to CT line, and then another 1.8 miles into CT, LWF is on the left. Rte 138 in RI can be accessed from either exits 4 or 3 on I-95. Follow 138 into CT 8-9 miles. At intersection with 165, turn right. LWF is 4/10 mile on right.
